A Commonwealth Government grant of $50,000 has provided for 50,000 litre capacity tanking at the school. Tanks have been connected to the garden irrigation system and will enable the front landscaped garden to be maintained as an attractive entry to the school.

The project has helped the students and the school community understand the value of conserving water. Stage 2 of the building works will incorporate similar water collection facilities which will also supplement water use in the toilets.
