Korowa Anglican Girls' School
K/P-12 SchoolsAbout Korowa Anglican Girls' School
Since its foundation in 1890, Korowa Anglican Girls' School has been consistently recognised as one of Victoria's leading independent schools. Our focus is on the individual - her talents, her aspirations and her needs. We aim to assist each child to reach their full potential, wherever that may lie.
Perhaps the most valuable lesson a student can learn at Korowa is confidence. Here, we have created an environment where girls can feel confident to explore and express their talents and individuality and where they build resilience, open mindedness and a positive attitude.
We pay sharp attention to fundamental education principles, as our students' results attest. Korowa VCE results normally rank amongst the highest in the State.
Korowa offers a balanced, contemporary curriculum with a strong emphasis on building the skills and strategies needed for lifelong learning.
Korowa classrooms are as wide as the world. Junior and Middle School students enjoy dedicated buildings which are contemporary in approach and design. Our modern and well maintained facilities include a Science Wing, a Food Technology Centre, a Music School, a Visual Arts Centre, well equipped libraries and drama studios. A first-rate grassed oval, eight tennis courts, two gymnasia, netball/basketball courts and a heated swimming pool complete the setting.
A proudly non-selective and inclusive School, Korowa is a Melbourne girls-only School beyond the Early Learning Centre years.
