Rose Garden is a family operated Centre by Ferruccio and Dessy Baiocchi. The Centre is licensed by the DEPARTMENT OF HUMAN SERVICES and the licensee is Dessy Baiocchi. The Centre is licensed as a Long Day Care Centre for a maximum number of 120 children per day licensed to operate six rooms, grouped ranging in ages :- 0 to 5yrs (school age).

At Rose Garden Childcare, programs are fun, joyful, educational and informative with a healthy mix of play, art, craft, singing, dancing, reading and resting.

Rose Garden Childcare makes the care and wellbeing of children its prime objective, over and above financial considerations. Programs based on our theme of 'Unity in Diversity' so as to promote understanding, tolerance and friendship among all races, nationalities and religions, and will sow the seed of peace and unity in such a diverse society.

We will be conducting a United Nation endorsed character education program, 'The Virtues Project' which brings out the best in children-confidence, kindness, friendliness, peacefulness, courage, courtesy... and builds their self-esteem ready for their future. To bring our the best in our children it is very effective to have the same strategies at home as we have at the Centre. Therefore, Parenting Workshops will be offered to parents as part of our service.

Australia is one of the lucky countries where so many nationalities and religions live in harmony. In an effort to prepare the children for the diversity of the Australian Society, we will be conducting multi-cultural and multi-faith programs where the children are introduced to the various cultures and main religions so that they join in each other's celebration as brothers and sisters of one human race.

Our Kindergarten will operate in the centre each day as part of the service and all children of that age group will participate in these educative and character building programs.

Much of the programming is based on observing children, evaluating their needs and planning from these observations. We will develop programs to the children's needs and therefore to enhance individual development. Each child will be guided to develop at there own individual pace according to his or her unique, individual gifts. Programs are evaluated on a regular basis.
The skills that many programs are based on are:-

FINE MOTOR (small muscle development eg. manipulation)
GROSS MOTOR(large muscle development eg. running, jumping)
SOCIAL (learning to work cohesively with others)
EMOTIONAL (self-esteem, self-worth)
COGNITIVE (thinking, problem solving)
LANGUAGE (speaking, communicating)
Routines and programs are displayed in each room. These are available for your perusal, please feel welcome to discuss with staff at any time either the routine or program. We invite your contribution.

OUR AIMS AND GOALS are for children to:

develop socially, emotionally, physically, spiritually and intellectually.
develop an understanding of themselves and each other.
develop self esteem.
develop independence.
stimulate their creativity and imagination.
experience a mutual trust between the child, his/her peers and caregivers.

Normal fees are payable by the last day of each week that your child attends, for the following week. This ensures that you are at least one week in advance at all times.

You may pay by EFTPOS, credit, cheque, money order or direct deposit- a no cash policy applies.

When you take holidays, we will reduce the 'Gap Fee' (money you pay to the Centre over and above your CCB) by $10.00 per day for any of your holidays. Please give Two weeks notice in writing and pay your fee in advance. This will ensure that you retain your booking. This is available for up to four weeks in every calendar year. All fees need to be up to date to receive your $10 reduction at this time.

Because your child occupies a Permanent booking at the Centre, fees are payable for all booked days including absences, whatever the reason. This ensures that YOUR child's place is always reserved and that fees overall, are kept to a minimum.

ALTERATIONS / TERMINATIONS
Please give us two weeks notice of any alterations or terminations of your normal booked days, otherwise two weeks fees in lieu will be charged. This notice ensures that fees are able to be kept to a minimum.

LATE FEES.
Rose Garden Childcare will offer your child a caring loving service in a joyful environment. In return, we expect you to honour your responsibility in paying your account. Should your account fall in arrears due to insufficient funds in your account, our bank's penalty fee will be charged to you and you will be issued with a FRIENDLY REMINDER. If the account is then not brought up to date a FINAL REMINDER NOTICE will be issued with a 10% LATE FEE added to the account to cover administration costs and your child's enrolment at the Centre may be cancelled if payment is not received immediately. The Centre is registered with a Debt Collection Agency who will recover all outstanding fees.
