We're all well aware of the publicity about the problems boys face at schools. From poor attitudes to work and reluctance to communicate, as specialists in boys' education, we are experts in assisting boys to be proud of what they can achieve and who they are.

Parents may click the below link to obtain an 'Application Form' and should lodge it with the College Registrar during their son's Grade Four or Five year, together with a cheque for $100.00 (Administration fee). The closing date for applications is late February in the year prior to admission.

At Parade College we interview every applicant. Interviews will commence when the boy is in his Grade Five year or early Grade Six year. Parents will be notified in writing of a date and time for interview.

Families will be notified at the end of April in the year prior to commencement, whether they have been offered a position or placed on the waiting list.


Upon acceptance a non-refundable Family Enrolment Contribution of $500 is payable to confirm your position. A compulsory Building Fund Levy of $300 per family is also payable each year, in addition to Tuition Fees.

Friday 27 February 2009 - Closing date for applications to Catholic schools
Friday 13 March 2009 - Catholic schools exchange lists of applicants
Friday 24 April 2009 - Catholic schools exchange lists of offers
Monday 4 May 2009 - Offers of places to prospective students are posted
Friday 22 May 2009 - Final date for acceptance of offers made

Fees range from $4,263 (Year 7) to $4,628 (Year 12).

During Term 4 the College sends out an annual account for the forthcoming year. Various payment options are available including a discounted fee for full payment by a nominated date. A late payment fee of $25 per term may be charged for overdue accounts.

The College endeavours to charge an all-encompassing fee, which covers the cost of materials, compulsory excursions, camps, retreats etc. Additional charges would cover music lessons and instrument hire, VET subjects, Charter Buses, activities and non-compulsory camps, etc.




In addition each family will be charged a Building Levy of $300 and working bee levy of $100 for the year. Families will receive a $50 credit for each of 2 working bees attended by a family member (minimum attendance of 4hrs required).

Family Discounts
These fees are charged on a per student basis with discounted rates applicable to families with two or more students attending the College. Families with two or more students enrolled at Parade College will receive the following reduction on Tuition Fees:
- 10% discount for the second son
- 50% discount for the third son
- 100% discount for the fourth son
The discount applies only on the tuition fee amount.

Payment

Credit card payments are accepted by the school. Payment by installment is also accepted whether weekly, fortnightly or monthly.

College Open Day
Our Annual Open Day is held each year from 11.00am - 3.00pm in February.

Prospective families are warmly invited to visit the College to learn more about the modern facilities and extensive programs offered by Parade College.

Year 7 Information Evening
Once your son's acceptance has been confirmed, families are invited to attend a Family Information Evening/Orientation Evening held in October.




Parents will receive a comprehensive package of all requirements for the following year including booklists, uniform price lists, transport details etc etc. This evening also represents your son's Orientation Evening where he will have the opportunity of meeting his Tutor Teacher and other students who will be in his tutor group the following year. Parents will also have the opportunity of meeting their son's intended Tutor Teacher and visit his Tutor Room.

Tours of the College
Our College Registrar conducts personalised tours to accommodate busy families who may not be able to attend Open Day. These tours allow you to experience our College and students on a normal school day, in classroom activities or out on the yard playing sports.
